Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DLL System Training ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our website (dll-systemm.com) and training services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About Our Services
DLL System Training provides professional public speaking and corporate training services including:
- Public speaking training programs
- Corporate presentation skills training
- Team communication workshops
- Executive coaching services
- Virtual and in-person training sessions
- Custom training program development
Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Payment Terms
Fees and Payment
- All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD)
- Payment is due as specified in your service agreement
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and corporate purchase orders
- Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts
Refund Policy
- Individual Training: Full refund if cancelled 14 days before start date
- Corporate Training: Refund terms specified in service agreement
- Cancellation by DLL System: Full refund provided
- Partial Completion: Prorated refund for unused sessions
Scheduling and Cancellation
Scheduling
- Training sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement
- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred schedule
- Schedule changes must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
Cancellation by Client
- More than 48 hours: No penalty, session can be rescheduled
- 24-48 hours: 50% of session fee charged
- Less than 24 hours: Full session fee charged
- No-show: Full session fee charged
Cancellation by DLL System
We may cancel or reschedule sessions due to:
- Trainer illness or emergency
- Extreme weather conditions
- Force majeure events
- Technical difficulties (for virtual sessions)
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Actively participate in training sessions
- Provide necessary information for customized training
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary training materials
- Treat trainers and other participants with respect
- Provide feedback and complete evaluations as requested
- Ensure technical requirements are met for virtual sessions
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All training materials, methodologies, and content are our intellectual property and protected by copyright. You may not:
- Reproduce or distribute our materials without permission
- Use our methodologies to provide training to others
- Modify or create derivative works from our content
- Remove copyright notices or attribution
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you provide during training. By participating, you grant us a limited license to use your content for training purposes.
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- Information shared during training sessions
- Your business information and strategies
- Personal challenges and goals discussed
- Performance assessments and feedback
Non-Disclosure
We will not disclose confidential information except:
- With your written consent
- As required by law
- To protect our rights or safety
- In anonymized form for research purposes
Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for services
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes
- You participate in training at your own risk
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Dispute Process
- Direct Resolution: Contact us to resolve issues informally
- Mediation: If needed, we'll attempt mediation through a neutral third party
- Legal Action: Any legal proceedings must be brought in Ontario courts
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services for:
- Illegal activities or purposes
- Harassment or discrimination
- Competing with our business
- Violating others' rights
- Disrupting training sessions
- Sharing inappropriate content
Termination
Termination by Client
You may terminate services by providing written notice. Refunds will be handled according to our refund policy.
Termination by DLL System
We may terminate services if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Fail to pay fees when due
- Engage in inappropriate behavior
- Provide false information
Warranties and Disclaimers
Our Commitment
We warrant that we will:
- Provide services with reasonable care and skill
- Use qualified and experienced trainers
- Maintain professional standards
- Comply with applicable laws
Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated, we provide services "as is" and disclaim all other warranties, express or implied.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
